Heather Sinclair opened Hello Gorgeous Salon in 2004. She has been a Cosmetologist for over 21 years. Heather decided in 2015 to further her education with a Barbering license, continuing on with a Master Barber Instructor license.
When she saw how much of a comeback the classic barber shop was making in today’s economy, she realized what a huge demand and need there was for a barber school in Stillwater.
Heather decided to open her own- fulfilling this demand for the community of Stillwater and surrounding areas. Hello Gorgeous Barber School opened in January 2017.
Students will have a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 34 hours of training per week as regulated by the State Board of Barbering. Once a student reaches 150 theory hours, they will be able to work on the floor with clients. Classes will be held all year with minimal Holiday breaks.
Barber School operating hours are:
9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
We offer coursework for Barbering, Barber Crossover, and Master Barber Instructor Program.
At this time we have a limit of 21 total students and we are filling up fast.
Admissions Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with evidence
- State issued credential for secondary school completion if home schooled
- Must be 16 years of age or older, providing proof
- For speciality programs: include valid license/proof of experience
Tuition is to be paid at the first of each month based on the hours the student is enrolled in for the month.
